Santa Cruz Decals is a new company in Portugal that specializes in decals of the Portugese Air Force.  They have a variety of decals in 1/72, 1/48 and 1/32. 

This 1/72nd and 1/48th scale decal sheet is for a Portuguese A-7 Corsair II.  The markings are quite good with a beautiful Tiger's head on one side of the tail and a Falcon's head on the other side.  The entire plane is painted in a 4 colour camo scheme.  You get enough decals to make one plane.  Some stencils are also included with this decal sheet.  The instruction sheet is basic and the 2 black and white sideview drawings provided on the instruction sheet do not provide enough information to get this plane correct.  Placement of the different camo colours as well as the layout of the camo scheme on this plane cannot be fully figured out from the instruction sheet.  The instruction sheet does show where to place some of the larger decals, but  the placement of a few of the smaller stencils and decals is not clearly shown on the instruction sheet.  But with some effort and the Internet a modeller should be able to track down the information needed to get this plane correct.

The printing quality of these silk screened decals is beautiful and perfectly in register.  The printing quality is also very sharp and crisp.....this would make an attractive  model when it is complete.
