This decal sheet is for the Canadian Airforce CF-104 "Checkerbird" Starfighter.  Leading Edge has done their typical high quality job in putting together this decal sheet.  All the tiniest stencils are included and all are perfectly clear and readable.  One area that had me concerned (until I actually saw the decal sheet) was whether the white of the decal sheet would be able to properly cover the black paint underneath.  Leading Edge has anticipated this and made sure the white sections of the decal sheet are solid enough to go over the black paint of the model and still remain white.  It is recommended that decal setting solution be used and a particular type of solution is preferred and recommended, but these details are all laid out in the instruction sheet that comes with the decal sheet (a scan of that instruction sheet is included below for your inspection).  This is a very striking version of the CF-104 and now that the 1/48 Hasegawa F-104J's have been released....it is now possible to have a very striking version of the CF-104.  We would like to thank Leading Edge Models for providing us with a sample of this decal sheet.       

The quality of this decal sheet is flawless and it comes in 1/48 scale.
