The parts are beautifully and flawlessly cast in the standard gray resin as all resin detail items from Cutting Edge Modelworks.  The set includes 15 resin parts and a clear film for the gauges.  The detail is crisp and finely detailed.  

This set is designed to improve on the detail of the Hobbycraft P-59 cockpit.  Included in this set is a clear panel to install behind the instrument panel, which will give you a very realistic instrument panel.  The sidewall detail is rich and beautifully executed.  Another highlight to this set is the radio that installs behind the pilots head.

Installation is fairly straight forward.  You will have to remove the sidewall detail on the Hobbycraft parts to permit the installation of this resin cockpit set.
