The US Air Force has various
F-16D's that it uses as chase planes as well as for flight testing and
training at it's Test Pilot School. On this decal sheet you get
the option of doing 3 of the 6 planes featured on this decal sheet.
The paint schemes range from all white, white with orange trim and white
with blue and red trim. The 4 pages of colour instruction sheets
cover all the details you need to get these planes correct. Also
included in the instruction sheets are some excellent walkaround photos
of the planes that cover the main differences between these F-16D's and
regular F-16D's. These differences include details such as the
fact that these planes have 2 control sticks in the front
cockpit.....the standard side panel control stick that is common to all
F-16's as well as the centre "between you legs" control stick
that is common on most other jets. These planes also include
stronger landing gear and in some cases different landing lights etc.
But these details are covered in the extensive instruction sheets.
This decal sheet will probably be your only chance to build any of these
rare and unique USAF Test Vipers and much thanks goes to The Two Bobs
for coming out with such an interesting selection of Test Vipers.
I do like this decal sheet, because it gives you some very good paint
schemes instead of the usual Low Viz paint scheme. The 3 decal
sheets were crisply and clearly printed and in register.
