Hot damn...the Two Bobs have done it again!!!  Often when planes go to War they are adorned with colourful nose art.  This is well known throughout history and Operation Enduring Freedom is no exception.  This decal sheets features 5 different F-16's with colourful nose art....lets go through them one by one.

The first plane is serial number 91-401, and is painted in the standard Gunship Gray FS 36118 on top and lighter Neutral Gray FS 36270 on the underside.  This plane features the stirring nose art of a NY Fireman passing the US Flag to a US Soldier with the message "We'll take it from here."  This nose art above all others is a strong symbol of the way Americans pull together in times of need to get the job done.  This plane features a long row of bomb mission markings (13 dumb bombs and 4 smart bombs).

The second plane is serial number 92-3880, and is painted in the standard Gunship Gray FS 36118 on top and lighter Neutral Gray FS 36270 on the underside.  This plane features nose art of the cartoon character "Marvin the Martian" from the Bugs Bunny TV cartoon.

"Marvin" is pointing a multi barreled cannon and looking ready to exact some revenge. This plane features a row of bomb mission markings (10 dumb bombs).

The third plane is serial number 91-0392, and is painted in the standard Gunship Gray FS 36118 on top and lighter Neutral Gray FS 36270 on the underside.  This plane features nose art of "Snoopy" from the Peanuts Comic strip flying his WW1 fighter plane Dog House loaded with a bomb load. And yes...."Woodstock" (Snoopy's little yellow bird friend) is flying as backseater behind "Snoopy" on the doghouse. This plane features a long row of bomb mission markings (10 dumb bombs).

The fourth plane is serial number 92-3889, and is painted in the standard Gunship Gray FS 36118 on top and lighter Neutral Gray FS 36270 on the underside.  This plane features nose art of a cartton Vulture perched on a lighting bolt with the text "VULTURE"  "T-BOLTS RULE".  This plane features a long row of bomb mission markings (12 dumb bombs and 2 Colt pistols).

The fifth plane is serial number 91-370, and is painted in the standard Gunship Gray FS 36118 on top and lighter Neutral Gray FS 36270 on the underside.  This plane features nose art of the Grim Reaper with the text "WANNA PLAY".  To me this nose art says exactly what is at the core of the folks in the military...bring the fight to the enemy.

This plane features a long row of bomb mission markings (9 dumb bombs).

The full color instructions are very good and provide what kits and accessories are available. There is also a explanation of the new Wind Corrected Munitions Dispenser GBU-31 and CBU-103 smart cluster bombs which permits these formerly low level bombs be dropped from higher and safer altitudes.

One final note....there are only enough Squadron and Stencil markings included with this sheet for 2 of the 5 planes featured.  If you like more than 2 of the planes on this sheet as I know I do, then you may want to consider buying a second sheet to get the extra stencils and Squadron markings.  This particular F-16 sheet is sure to be a hot seller, so buy sooner rather than later .

This sheet is available through http://www.twobobs.net/ and select US Hobby Shops.  Overseas customers can purchase these from Twobobs site or through Twobobs network of overseas distributors.  Remember, shipping is always FREE to US Customers at Twobobs!!
