Lovers of the F-14 have
always wanted markings for these two planes. This latest release
from Two Bobs features very sought after markings for two F-14B used for
a detachment to Fallon in 1990 for air to ground delivery tactics.
You get 1/72 and 1/48 decals for both these Tomcats all included on one
sheet. The planes are as follows;
First up is the F-14B
"Thief of Baghdad" from the VF-24 Renegades. The artwork
for the Tomcat leaning against the bomb comes in 2 decals to make sure
the very complicated cartoon does not suffer from register problems. Or
you can just use the single decal of the cartoon artwork that is also
included.
The second F-14B is the
F-14B "Camel Smoker" from the VF-24 Renegades. The
artwork for the nose art is of a Camel Jockey being chased by 2 F-14
VF-24 Adversaries. The nose art comes in 3 decals to make sure the
very complicated cartoon does not suffer from register problems.
One decal is the complete artwork and the other 2 decals is the artwork
broken down into different layers to avoid any possibly register
problems.
This decal sheet also
includes 1/72 as well as 1/48 scale and includes the false canopy for
the bottom of the plane incase you decide not to paint it. Also
included are some national insignia and formation lights.
