This is the Tamiya
1/48 scale model of the Grumman F4F4 Wildcat. The model was built straight
out of the box. The only extra things I added were syringe needles and
cardboard seat belt details. The antenna is soft vinyl sprue.

I painted the model
using Colombian made domestic enamels. Then I sprayed
Future clear wax and added the decals. Finally I gave a wash of black
vinilic paint and liquid soap to the painted model and airbrushed Dullcote.
Building this model was a
pleasure. I highly recommend to beginners and experienced modelers.
