Some
years ago at the annual Duxford show in Sep I found this one-piece ready to
paint RAF pilot figure in resin of indeterminable scale but closest to
1/16. I'd been looking for a
similar scale Luftwaffe fighter crew figure to match the other.
A gift from a friend of the acclaimed Tamiya 1/16 kit, kick started my
plans and here they are in what I call 'Face off' (not exactly Cage and Travolta
but close enough).

I
did the Luftwaffe guy with the Mae West on and with the blue grey peak cap
rather than white in which colour almost every body else has done it.
The Brit Flt Lt has the typical red polka dotted scarf but wears the old
style green life jacket of 39-40 vintage. I
couldn't get the lettering 'FRONT on to the jacket stole, so left it off. Hope
you like it.
