At my suggestion, a
friend built this model of the ubiquitous Hasegawa 1/48 scale F/A-18A as an
EF-18A in the markings of Ala 12, Ejercito de'l Aire, using the
F-4DableModels Export Bugs (1) decal sheet released last year. This particular
aircraft has mission tally markings for combat sorties flown during Operation
Allied Force.

The model was built
pretty much out-of-the-box, with a Black Box SJU-5/6 seat added, along with a
few scratch-built details. The AGM-88 HARM's were taken from the Hasegawa 1/48
F-16CJ kit.
Gunze Mr.Color lacquer based
paints were used throughout the construction.
