This is
the Pegaso 1/48 Monocoupe 90 A racer. This is really a challenge as there are
only 11 parts total! No interior, engine, clearparts and lots more.

I
vacuformed a canopy, although it did not fit too well, scratch built from spares
and junk box the interior, added an engine from a 1/72nd scale plane and got a
proper prop. I used fingernail polish (sprayed) onto Tamiya White primer and
then spent a lot of time masking this little beast. When this photo was taken
the solve a set and not finished drying so some distortion in the decals. I
added alum exhaust pipes to the underside. I cut out the top window and added
framing to a piece of Lexan, for the window.

Overall it was a fun
challenge but I wouldn’t recommend this for a beginner. There are just too
many things that a modern day modeler would not want to tackle.
