Hello everyone, this time I bring you a special fighter.  This is a Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-17 PF --NATO reporting name: Fresco D and China: Shenyang J-5/F-5 night fighter, J-5 is the first high subsonic jets of PLA Airforce.  The Shenyang J-5 defend the air of PRC from 1950’s for about 20 years, shot down F-4B from USAF (April 24,1967), RF-84 from ROA Airforce (April 15,1957) and so on.

This J-5 night fighter was used during the famous “The Cultural Revolution” in China (1966-1976), it had a special painting : the sloganeer “pursue the tottering foe” (the words are from Chairman Mao’s poem) on both sides of nose, which with the Chinese cursive script ; and “defy death to defend Chaiman Mao”, on the body, in ordinary Chinese script.

I made it just out of box, I only used the decal that bought from internet. I used Tamiya spray paint TS-30 allover painted and old with oil paint. The body of kit will be not very fit, when you decide to show the engine. Well, this is my first plane model with engine, maybe my skill is not so good to made it good fit J.
