This was a simple build. It was all ready started very nicely by DonG. I just finished it. It has been in the stash for several years now. Just needed to figure out the markings.

I only do "AJ" coded tails, there are 4 squadrons I still want to do but VF-13 seemed the easiest to make from my stash of decals. Just a matter of cutting out numbers from various sheets and placing them on the model. VF-13 was not one of the more famous squadrons so there are not custom made decals (of this exact airframe) out there. The red bands with the 3 white stars are from the stash. Lucky I had a sheet in the stash from VFP-63 that had 5 stars. Simply paint out the middle ones, and now it looks like the photo reference I had.

Simple build, but it now being summer, the time of yard work and camping, simple is all I had time for.
