This is the Hasegawa F-8 crusader kit. I built the kit as aircraft no. 39 of the French Navy 12F Flottille colors. Initially the aircraft was delivered with US navy style 315 with white underside, but my scheme is the intermediate US navy gray (Gunze 315) wrap around which most of the time wore this scheme.

The kit was built entirely out of the box, using box decals as well. The AIM9s were uncommon in F-8E ( FN), earlier ones were armed with R530 Matra and later R550 Magic 2s.
