Here is my Revell/Monogram 1/48 scale F/A-18C Hornet. The kit was pretty much built straight out of the box.
The only thing used that didn’t come with the kit was the weapons and the decals. She is armed for training. She is carrying 4 Mk.83 practice bombs, 2 SUU-20 pods, 1 TACTS pod, 2 captive AIM-7s, and 1 CATM-9L.
The decals are from a Hasegawa kit of VMFA-232 Red Devils. The kit was painted using Model Master paint and weathered with an enamel wash. I hope you enjoy the article. Creighton L Henthorn Jr
