1/48 Hasegawa F4U-4 Corsair

Here is my 48th scale Hasegawa F4U-4 Corsair.  I installed a Verlinden cockpit set and scavenged the 500Ib bomb and rockets from a Hasegawa P-51 kit.

All painting was done with Polly Scale paints. First I applied navy sea blue and then  mixed a lighter shade to fade the interior of the aircraft panels. After gloss coating the kit decals were applied.

Weathering was achieved with a wash of grimy black, silver pencil to simulate paint chipping and a dull coat finish.
