I recently completed my 48th scale Airfix
Jaguar. The model was built with help of some Eduard Photo Etch, which
happens to be my first attempt at using PE.

The overall fit for the kit is ok, filler was needed on the
fuselage and lower wing joint. I'm not sure of the accuracy of this kit,
but it certainly looks like a Jaguar to me.
I used the kit decals for the Gulf War version
and airbrushed my Jaguar with Humbrol 250 and gave it an oil wash.
For weathering I used Gunze acrylics. Sadly the ALQ-119 Jamming Pod was
MIA (Missing In Action) while I was building the Jag and a search the entire house
didn't turn up anything.

Pictures were taken with a rented Canon digital
camera. I must admit I'm not that good at
taking pics, but I'll try to contribute a better article next time....
I hope you modelers enjoy my not so good still green
modeling.
Thanks to ARC.
