This FGR.2 belonged to the 74th SQD.,RAF,  a full member of the NATO TIGERS. This airframe was primarily used as a CAN bird used to quick fix frontline fighters.

This Phantom was painted with tiger stripes for a hosted Tiger Meet and later used as a back drop on a change of airframe celebration to the Hawk. Unfortunately, it was afterwards taken to a junkyard in England and scrapped.
