This is the old Frog 1/72 kit of the Wyvern. To
begin things off I rescribed all panel lines. The wing folds were done
with a mixture of etched brass and scratch building. The cockpit was
scratch built with an Aeroclub seat.
All wheel wells, undercarriage & canopy was
detailed or replaced with aftermarket items. I Painted it to represent an
aircraft from HMS Eagle during the Suez crisis. For painting I used
Aeromaster paints and masked and sprayed the recognition strips. The
weathering was done with pastels & sepia washes. Finally the decals were the
original kit decals from the box.
